Setting menu background image and music

Note: Menu's only apply to optical output types, e.g. DVD-Video or Blu-ray.

If the menu tabs are not shown on the left, you can go to the menu by left clicking the 'Menu' home button from the top tool bar.

To customize a menu, select the ‘Menu Theme’ tab.

From here you can set the menu background, layout, frame style, navigation buttons and highlight options..

To change the background image for the current menu, left click on the required background image in the background scroll window. If you wish to set the menu background image to your own custom image then left click the ‘Set background Image button and navigate to your image or video file.

To set the background music for the current menu, left click the ‘Set background music’ button and navigate to the required music file. The music will only be played for the 'Menu repeat duration' setting before repeating.

To have playing thumbnails on the current menu, select the 'Playing thumbnails' option. When previewing your menu, you will notice that the button thumbnails on a menu do not contain a static image, instead they play a mini version of the slideshow in the button. If you do not want this behaviour, then un-select this option.

Note: The menu button thumbnail will start playing from what ever slide was selected as the thumbnail slide (see How to organize a slideshow chapter ).

To have a zooming background effect on the current menu, select the 'Zooming background' option. This option only applies to image backgrounds and it not relevant to video backgrounds.

To preview the current menu, left click the 'Preview menu' button.

Note:To reset the music back to nothing, right click over the ‘Set background music’ button and select ‘Reset’.
