Cropping an
image
To
crop an image, make sure you have brought up the
'Edit slide
media' window. Then select the image you wish to
adjust and then select the
'Crop'
tab. PhotoVidShow can not currently crop a
video.

To
perform a crop, make sure the 'Crop enabled' option is
selected. This then brings up a rectangle region in the preview
area, showing the area that is to be cropped. This region can then
be moved by left clicking on the rectangle and holding whilst
moving the mouse. You can adjusted the size of the region with the
yellow tracker markers.
Sometimes it is useful to crop a region with a specific aspect
ratio. E.g. if you wanted the cropped area to fill a normal 16:9
widescreen slide. To do this left click on the corresponding aspect
button.
Selecting the 'Lock aspect' option will mean that any
adjustment to the size of the cropped region will retain the
current aspect ratio.
Note: PhotoVidShow
will only update the preview slide window of the newly cropped
region after a period of inactivity or if another tab option has
been selected.
