Making a music track end on a particular slide

To make a background music track end at the same time as a particular slide in the storyboard panel do the following steps.

  • Select the slide in the storyboard panel you wish the music track to end with, by left clicking and highlighting the slide (Note: If multiple slides are highlighted PhotoVidShow will simple use the last selected slide).

  • Right click on the music track bar you wish to end with the selected slide.

  • If the trim is possible you will be able to select the 'End music on selected slide' option.

Notes: PhotoVidShow will try and make the music track and the selected slide end together. If there is a transition period between the selected slide and the next slide, PhotoVidShow will make the music track finish mid way through this transition period. PhotoVidShow will also apply a 1 second fade out on the newly trimmed music track. To perform more fine tuning, you may wish to then edit the music track by selecting the 'Edit/trim Music' option.

When performing this action, in effect, PhotoVidShow does an automatic music trim for you. If afterwards you were then to alter the length of the slideshow such that the selected slide now finishes at a different time, PhotoVidShow does not then re-alter the music track to match the new end time of the selected slide. If you wish this to happen you may have to re-apply this action.
