The quick start guide to
authoring a photo slideshow
Step 1) Choosing an output
type
Start the PhotoVidShow
application. By default the above window is
displayed.
When creating a slideshow in PhotoVidShow, there are three main
types of output:-
-
Video file.
This generates a .mp4 (mpeg4) video file which can be played on a
computer, smart device or uploaded to the web (e.g. facebook or
youtube).
-
Burn to DVD.
This creates and burns a standard DVD-Video disk which can then be
played on a stand-alone DVD player and viewed on TV. This option
includes an optional disk menu.
-
Burn to
Blu-ray. This creates and burns a standard Blu-ray disk
which can then be played on a stand-alone Blu-ray player and viewed
on TV. This
option includes an optional disk menu.
Choose the output you
want the slideshow to be for. When selecting DVD-Video
or Blu-ray, the editor will provide additional tabs in the editor
to create disk menus. It also allows multiple
slideshows.
Tip:
You can always change
the output type from within the editor at any time by changing the
'Output' option from the top tool bar.
